About Dr. Anupama Ravi Futela

Her special interest is in Infertility and Fetal medicine. She has single handedly started her independent practice in Rudrapur 20 years back. A graduate from King George Medical College (Lucknow) (1993) and post graduate from MAMC (New Delhi) (1996). She is working as senior consultant in self owned multispecialty setup Futela Hospital, Rudrapur. She has taken reproductive medicine fellowship at Homerton University, London under Dr Anil Gudi and Dr Amit Shah. She has also done IVF training at Pristine hospital, Kolhapur with Dr Sachin Kulkarni. A superb orator and an excellent teacher, she is a favourite choice for CMEs and lectures and recently has received laurels for her lecture on infertility in CME organized by Kashipur and Haldwani FOGSI. She has been contributing through her practice in obstetrics and gynecology since 20 years. Trained in difficult high risk obstetrics and gynecological endoscopy, she is first gynecologist to start hysteroscopy and laproscopy in Rudrapur. Her special interest is in Infertility and Fetal medicine. She has single handedly started her infertility clinic 5 years back and more than 200 patients have got positive results in past few years. Recently she has gifted first IVF babies to Kumaun region. She is the first gynecologist in Kumaun who has upgraded her center for 3D/4D USG with genetic and anomaly Scan and Doppler studies for which she has received certified training. She is founder president of Rudrapur obs and gynae society affiliated to FOGSI. With penchant for giving back she is actively helping poor students through BHOR- a NGO under able guidance.
